Our program is designed for individuals recovering from cardiac events, surgeries, or those with chronic heart conditions.
Currently, we accept most commercial PPO insurances (Anthem, Cigna, Aetna, Blue Shield, Healthnet, United Health) and Medicare. We are always adding new insurances. We will try our best to bill insurance for your care. However, you may still be subjected to your insurance co-pay, co-insurance, and deductibles.
Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation (ICR) is a comprehensive, medically supervised program designed to improve cardiovascular health in patients with cardiovascular conditions. ICR includes a combination of exercise training, nutritional counseling, stress management, and education on heart-healthy living. It aims to reduce the risk of future heart problems and improve overall well-being.
Our program is facilitated by a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, meditation instructors, sound therapists, and licensed acupuncturists, all of whom are dedicated to supporting your recovery and wellness.
Patients can expect to experience reduced stress levels, improved mental and emotional well-being, enhanced coping strategies, and a supportive community, all of which contribute to a healthier heart and a more positive recovery experience.
The program is designed to address both the physical and emotional aspects of recovery. Through meditative practices, sound therapy, and group support, patients can reduce stress, improve mental health, and foster a positive outlook on their recovery journey, which can contribute to better overall cardiac health.
During your first visit, you will undergo a comprehensive assessment, including a review of your medical history, a physical examination, and baseline measurements such as blood pressure and heart rate. You will also meet with our multidisciplinary team, who will design a personalized rehabilitation plan tailored to your specific needs and goals. This visit sets the foundation for your rehabilitation journey.
ICR is a 12 week program consisting of 2 sessions a week every Monday and Thursday evening.
To enroll in the ICR program, you would need a qualifying cardiac event. If you have met this criteria, please give our office a call. We will then reach out to your primary care physician or cardiologist to confirm the diagnosis. Subsequently, we will set you up with an initial assessment to evaluate your current health status and determine the best course of action. You can then schedule your sessions with our team.
We welcome family members or caregivers at certain sessions. However, please contact us to obtain prior permission as space may be limited. Family is a critical part of healing, and we want to help family members better understand the patient’s recovery process and provide support at home.
Sessions are held at our Infinity Wellness Center located at 10780 Santa Monica Blvd, STE 350, Los Angeles, CA 90025.
Our program, offered in partnership with Pritikin Intensive Cardiac Rehab, provides a comprehensive, scientifically proven, personal care plan to help you improve your health and wellbeing.
